Company Overview: We are a medium-sized manufacturing unit specializing in stainless steel and mild steel pipes. Our facility employs approximately 120 permanent workers and 70 contract workers. Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with at least 7 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role within a similar-sized manufacturing plant. Experience in the stainless steel or mild steel pipe industry is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management: Oversee daily manufacturing operations to achieve targeted production levels efficiently and cost-effectively.
Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and train staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Maintenance Oversight: Ensure the proper maintenance of all mechanical equipment to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
Administrative Duties: Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling, reporting, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Integrity and Ethics: Uphold the highest standards of honesty and integrity in all professional activities.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a managerial or assistant managerial role in a similar-sized plant.
Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in stainless steel or mild steel pipe manufacturing is preferred.
Skills: Strong leadership, team management, and mechanical maintenance capabilities.
